The director, Mrs. Kate Vouté Wright, is an experienced certified Montessori teacher with both the AMI and AMS training. She has taught Montessori to children 18 months to twelve years old and holds a Master’s in Education. AMI is the oldest authority on Montessori education worldwide. Newport Montessori’s materials, methodology, and philosophy are consistent with those set by the Association Montessori International (AMI), and the American Montessori Society (AMS).
